When you join COAA, you will find yourself in a group of like-minded individuals who share your ideas. You will finally have a voice and a place to turn to as an owner in the construction industry. We are here to regularly provide information beneficial to owners in dealing with consultants, architects, engineers, sureties, contractors and all involved in the construction industry. Spring and Fall Leadership Conferences – Network with owners and other construction industry experts, participate in open forum discussions, visit industry supplier exhibits, learn from educational seminars and breakouts and hear about the hottest issues affecting owners/suppliers. COAA members enjoy discounted registration and exhibitor fees.
ConsensusDOCS – COAA, along with 22 other industry organizations, collaboratively participated in drafting the ConsensusDOCS construction contracts. More than 80+ standard construction contracts and forms are available for purchase with a COAA discount.
Networking/Collaboration with Other Owners – COAA provides opportunities for Owners to come together to share ideas and learn through educational programs and peer network groups on both a national and a local level. Members discuss current issues via the COAA e-Forum.
COAA Career Center– - Members receive discounted rates on job postings.
Owner Training Institute – Offered at least once per year, the OTI provides training on a specific areas of project management.
Project Leadership Award – The COAA Awards Program is an annual awards program that recognizes Owners' excellence in project management. The Project Leadership Award promotes leadership, professionalism and excellence of Owners and Developers involved in the construction process.
Owner's Perspective Magazine – COAA quarterly publishes the Owner's Perspective Magazine. Owner's Perspective contains pertinent articles on the latest trends and issues for Owners.
COAA Website – www.coaa.org – Access member resources, magazine archives, calendar of events, event registration, chapter news and much more!
Discounts – Corporate Sponsors, Member Discount Providers and other industry products and services are available to COAA members.
Local Chapters – Joining the National organization automatically makes you a member of your COAA Local Chapter. Local chapters offer educational programs and networking on a local level.

Course 101: Introduction to Construction Project Management

Registration for Course 101: Introduction to Construction Project Management is now open. This highly interactive course is presented from the differing perspectives of Owner, Architect and Contractor. Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of the project management process.
