The Project Leadership Award is an annual awards program that recognizes Owners’ excellence in project delivery. The Project Leadership Award program promotes leadership, professionalism and management excellence of Owners involved in the design and construction process. 

Joint Effort of Construction Owners Association of America (COAA); National Association of State Facilities Administrators (NASFA); APPA: The Association of Higher Education Facilities Officers; Associated General Contractors of America (AGC); and American Institute of Architects (AIA) - This publication is offered to help Owners better understand and communicate their collaborative project delivery options and decide how best to drive their projects to the most successful outcome.

COAA members approved removing the course of study criteria from Student Membership definition, so the membership is open to all individuals who are full-time students (nine or more credit hours per semester).

Members also voted to add an Educator Membership category open to individuals whose primary employment is as a faculty member with an institution of higher education.
