COAA conducts two national educational conferences a year, one in the Spring and one in the Fall.

From time to time COAA also offers special courses through its Owner Training Institute. Its first course “Introduction to Project Management” is a two-day program designed to meet the educational needs of entry-level project managers.

COAA members vote to update Article IV, Membership, of COAA By-Laws

COAA members approved removing the course of study criteria from Student Membership definition, so the membership is open to all individuals who are full-time students (nine or more credit hours per semester).

Members also voted to add an Educator Membership category open to individuals whose primary employment is as a faculty member with an institution of higher education.
