              COAA Announces New Board Members at Fall Owners Leadership Conference


Tampa, FL
- Two new members were elected and three incumbents were re-elected to the Construction Owners Association of America (COAA) board of directors, as announced at the 2017 COAA Fall Owners Leadership Conference in Tampa, FL.

Joining the board is Allison Muth, director of Facilities Planning and Development at the Texas Children’s Hospital and Andrew Reilly, director of Construction at Carnegie Mellon University.

Muth has been an active member of COAA since 2010 and the president of the COAA-TX Chapter since 2015. With experience as an architect and an owner, she is able to recognize the challenges between industry partners.

Reilly has worked at CMU for 12 years exhibiting excellence in design, engineering, and construction management in the higher-education sector.  He is currently the project executive in the Construction Management phase of a 315,000 square foot business school building and has as served for years as the treasurer of the Pennsylvania Chapter of COAA.

The three re-elected incumbents include:


  • Gwen Glattes, project controls manager at The Pavilion Project Penn Medicine
  • Joe Sprys, director of facilities and construction at the National Heritage Academies
  • Marvin Woodward, deputy state property officer, deputy director at The Georgia State Financing and Investment Commission Construction Division
 
The COAA board has 12 directors and one director-at-large that serve as the governing body of the association.
