The COAA Peer Review Program provides Owners with an important resource to help improve (or validate) their current processes. A COAA Peer Review is a customized evaluation conducted by a team of Owner peers across a predefined set of criteria. COAA’s Peer Review Teams are hand-picked to address the specific scope of work for each review conducted.
How it Works
A personalized scope of work is developed to meet Owners’ needs and expectations. Then, Peer Review team members are selected based on the areas of expertise needed. A recommended site visit schedule and list of materials to be sent to the Team in advance of the visit is submitted to the requesting Owner.
A COAA Peer Review Team site visit may include interviews with Project Managers, contractors, architects, customers, etc., in addition to touring current projects under construction.
The Team conducts follow up calls and a draft report is submitted to the Owner. If necessary, a second site visit may be requested or additional conference calls conducted.
The final customized report summarizing the Team’s findings and suggested improvements is delivered to the Owner.
