Professional Bio
Since 1990, Dale has been active in serving the higher education community, beginning in California where he was Principal Consultant on several state institution projects including the planning, design and construction of CSU San Marcos, the first new University built in the U.S. in 25 years.
In 1994 Dale became an Appointed Consultant to The California State University System and over the next 14 years worked alongside of campus staff on capital projects and with The CSU Chancellor’s Office on overall projects and land record matters, including over $750M in major capital projects at CSU Fullerton. In 2011 he joined a national architecture firm to lead a national growth effort in higher education. Under his direction, the company’s client geography expanded from 30 to 40 states and opened 2 new offices for the firm.
In 2019, Dale was elected to a 3-year term as Chairman of the North Central Region for the Society of College & University Planning (SCUP) and serves on the SCUP Council. This recognition is attributed to his leadership and expertise in higher education.
