COAA-TX UT Dallas SU-SSC Tour and Happy Hour

Join COAA Texas for an exclusive hard hat tour of the new Student Union and Student Success Center currently under construction on the The University of Texas at Dallas campus. This transformational 360,000 square foot project will more than double the capacity of the existing Student Union and create a new hub for student life, engagement, and academic success.

Scheduled for completion in late 2026, the facility combines student centered spaces with academic support resources under one roof. The project includes classrooms, a 400-seat lecture hall, the Student Success Center, Office of Undergraduate Education spaces, the Honors College, and learning support services. The Student Union portion will feature over 235,000 square feet of student engagement space including a 12,500 square foot ballroom, new retail dining concepts, reservable meeting rooms, study spaces, a creativity lab, dedicated practice areas for dance and spirit groups, and indoor and outdoor gathering spaces.

Attendees will have a unique opportunity to step behind the construction fencing and experience the project firsthand while hearing from the team about the planning, design, and construction process shaping one of the campus’s most significant investments in student experience.

PPE, including hard hats, safety vests, and closed toe shoes, will be required for participation.
