8:30 - 9:30 am Networking & Registration (includes continental breakfast) 
9:30 - 10:30 am Improving Worker Wellness - Chris Hoy of University of Virginia, Matt Kidwell and Heidi Burkett of Skanska, and Tori Terrell of Design Electric will lead a discussion of strategies to combat the disproportionately high rates of suicide and substance abuse that affect our industry. Presenters will share their experiences, the tools they use, and other ideas for transforming the way project teams can address and monitor wellness.  
10:30 - 10:45 am Networking Break
10:45 - 11:45 pm Collaborative Risk Management - Join us for a guided discussion led by Paul Ely of Virginia Tech, Anca Lipan of Baskervill, and Dan Buchta of Barton Malow on how project teams can work together to better manage risk. We will examine risk management concepts such as early risk identification, project goal prioritization, and building team trust for better risk communication. We will also review risk management tools such as alternate project delivery methods, liquidated damages, enhanced existing condition surveys, risk matrices, and project insurance products such as OCIP and CCIP.

The Workshop has been approved for 3.0 HSW Learning Units by AIA.
