COAA-WI Spring 2024 Workshop

Join the Construction Owners Association of America (COAA) and its Wisconsin chapter for a discussion and tour of the recent additions to Camp Randall Stadium on the campus of the University of Wisconsin.

In what was nearly a case of “let’s see how many challenges and curveballs we can handle,” the team who planned & executed renovations to the south endzone of venerable Camp Randall Stadium handled them all beautifully and look forward to sharing HOW they did so.  The team will first explain the WHY behind the project and lead a tour of the finished work.  Following lunch, the team will discuss these and other factors, most of which are applicable and important to any Owner and most commercial projects:

• Cultivating a cohesive team culture
• Selecting compatible collaborators
• Addressing site complexities and pre-existing conditions (including adjacent historic structures)
• Managing within an extraordinarily tight timeline
