Owner members – Vote in Upcoming Board Elections (2027-2029 Term)

COAA is pleased to announce the upcoming election of Directors to serve three-year terms on the association’s Board of Directors. You can learn more about the Board and COAA governance by visiting the Governance page of the COAA website.

Eligible Owner members are invited to vote on the following slate of candidates:

• John Bechtel – Penn State University

• Jim Carroll – Auburn University

• Sally Shumaker – State of Wisconsin Department of Administration

• Dave Skuodas – Mile High Flood District

While Jim Carroll currently serves on the Board by appointment, this is the first time each of the four nominees has appeared on the ballot. Sally Shumaker also brings the perspective of an Emerging Professional, and Dave Skuodas, if elected, would be the first horizontal Owner to serve on COAA’s Board.

The nominees are not competing against one another, so eligible voters may vote for all four.

Voting is being conducted electronically via SurveyMonkey. Ballots were distributed by email, so please check your inbox and your spam or junk folder if you don’t see yours.

Voting closes at 5:00 PM ET on Friday, December 4.

This is your opportunity to have a voice in COAA’s leadership and future, and it takes only a few minutes to participate. Election results will be confirmed during COAA’s Annual Business Meeting on Thursday, December 10.
