Bruce Uhernik

Bruce Uhernik, P.E., serves as Engineering Director for Wastewater Capital Projects at the City and County of Denver’s Department of Transportation and Infrastructure (DOTI), where he oversees delivery of approximately $70 million annually in wastewater infrastructure improvements. With more than 21 years of civil engineering experience, Bruce leads multidisciplinary teams through planning, design, and construction of complex storm, sanitary, and green infrastructure projects. He has guided development of citywide master plans and six-year capital improvement programs that translate long-term system needs into executable construction programs. A licensed Professional Engineer in Colorado, Bruce is committed to collaborative partnerships, practical problem-solving, and successful project delivery that strengthens both infrastructure and community outcomes.
