I am an architect working as an Owner for 25 years. I am the past President of COAA Michigan Chapter. Currently I am a Board member of COAA.

OTI Instructor Bio
Fran is an architect with 20+ years of experience in higher education construction industry in the areas of planning, design, project management, and administration. She started out as a project manager and worked her way up through the department, currently serving as Senior Director of Design and Construction Services for Wayne State University (WSU). Fran is responsible for managing the team responsible for all the design and construction on campus including such projects as Anthony Wayne Drive Apartment P3, Gateway Theatre Complex, the basketball Arena, STEM renovation, and many others. During her years at Wayne, Fran has worked on the campus master plan, facilitated annual deferred maintenance planning, and implemented a new space management system as well.

Prior to joining the university, Fran spent eight years in the industry working for architectural offices as an intern architect and project manager in the Detroit area. She earned her Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Detroit. She became active in COAA in 2014 by serving as President and Vice President of the Michigan Chapter.
