Professional Bio

Leisa is the Performance Manager/Project Manager within Support Services, a division of Infrastructure Planning and Facilities (IPF) at Michigan State University (MSU). She has been with IPF for more than 20 years, with 16 of those years spent in Planning, Design and Construction (PDC) overseeing Capital Construction projects in the roles of Construction Administrator and Project Manager.

For the past six years, Leisa developed and publishes the PDC departmental metrics and scorecards; is the administrator of a cloud-based construction application used for capital project delivery; manages the capital projects closeout process; facilitates the University-Wide and Specific Service Level Agreements initiative; creates process workflows that capture institutional knowledge; and assists with the development of the IPF-wide safety program.

Leisa is a graduate of Michigan State University, with a bachelor’s degree in Building Construction Management; is a LEED-accredited professional and a certified stormwater operator; and is a member of the Board of Directors for Women in Skilled Trades (WIST). She also served as President of COAA’s Michigan chapter from January 2018 to December 2020.
