Mike is Vice Chairman of Holder Construction Company, a national construction services firm with experience throughout the country and offices in Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas, Denver, Phoenix, San Jose and Washington, D.C. Holder is consistently ranked by ENR as one of the nation's leading contractors in Construction Management, General Construction, and Design-Build.

Mike is recognized for his expertise in project delivery systems and working with Career & Technical Education and Workforce Development. He has been involved in numerous initiatives, including authoring AGC of America’s Project Delivery Systems textbook. Based on this textbook he taught a graduate course for over a decade on “Integrated Project Delivery Systems” at Georgia Tech.

Mike is a longtime member of the Construction Owners Association of America (COAA), serving on its Conference and Education committees and as an instructor for several Owner Training Institute (OTI) courses. He has presented to numerous industry groups – and authored several articles – on project delivery and the industry’s efforts to attract a future workforce.

Mike – who was elected in 2018 to the National Academy of Construction – graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Construction Engineering and Management. He enjoys traveling with his wife Marcy and has four children and two grandchildren.
