Hayes is Vice President of Vandermeer Management, an Atlanta-based consulting firm that offers comprehensive project and program management services.
Hayes previously served for two decades at Holder Construction – first as a laborer and eventually as a project manager/director. He successfully delivered a wide range of projects for Emory University, the University of Maryland, College of Charleston, the University of Georgia, Clemson University, the City of Sandy Springs (GA), the Woodruff Arts Center, and many other clients.
Hayes received his BS in Management and a minor in Land Development at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Since 2016, Hayes has been a dedicated volunteer instructor for the Construction Owners Association of America's (COAA) Owner Training Institute. He is also a graduate of the Urban Land Institute’s (ULI) Center for Leadership Class of 2024.
