Small/Minor Projects Best Practices

Education, Get Involved, News,

COAA is proud to continue advancing an initiative to help Owners and their partners improve the planning & execution of small or minor projects.  These projects can be just as tough or complex as large/major/mega projects ... leading to the nickname of "Small But Mighty" (SBM) projects.  As captured perfectly in a past COAA Connect presentation title, it's often a case of "Fewer Zeroes But More Headaches."

This effort began with a national survey of Owners in 2020 to identify challenges and pain points.  It evolved through presentations and peer-to-peer discussions at both the national and chapter level, then picked up steam with the formation of a small work group and development of a tangible, usable end product.

Download THIS infographic of (11) SBM best practices, then consider how your organization might use this to help improve your delivery of small/minor projects.

If you have thoughts ... would like to be part of the ongoing work ... or are interested in sharing your experience in this area (in person or virtually), please reach out to me or anyone on the COAA staff.
