You're a COAA Member ... Now What
You’re a COAA Member … Now What?
Maybe you signed yourself up.
Maybe your supervisor added you through your company’s membership roster.
Maybe you got a welcome email and thought:
“Wait … I’m a member of COAA? What’s COAA?”
Yep – you are – and that means you’ve got access to a lot more than conference discounts and newsletters.
Your COAA membership comes with tools, conversations, resources, and connections designed to help you do your job a little easier, and maybe even make your day a little less frustrating.
Three of the best places to start are the eForum, the eCatalog, and the eForum xChange:
eForum
If you’ve ever thought,
“I wonder how other Owners are handling this,” that’s your cue to jump into the eForum.
The eForum is where you:
- Ask real questions (not theoretical ones)
- Get answers from people actually doing the work
- Connect with peers who get it
No fluff or sales pitches. Just smart people sharing what works (and sometimes what didn’t … which is just as valuable).
Pro tip: Don’t lurk forever. Jump in. Say hello. Ask something. That’s where the value starts.
eCatalog
Let’s talk about time ... specifically, how much of it we waste recreating things that already exist.
Enter the eCatalog, which includes:
- Templates
- Tools
- Real project examples
- Recorded sessions you can actually use
This isn’t theory. This is “someone already figured this out … here you go.”
Even better? If you’ve got something that works… share it. Because the best part of this library is that it’s built by people like you.
eForum xChange
And speaking of people like you…
We know that finding time to network and exchange ideas with peers isn’t always easy. Everybody’s busy. Projects are moving fast. Calendars are packed.
That’s exactly why we created the monthly eForum Xchange.
Held on the first Tuesday of every month at 1:00 PM ET, the Xchange is like a virtual “town hall” gathering with fellow COAA members, It’s one hour to connect with peers, ask questions, share challenges, and hear how others are approaching the same kinds of issues you’re facing.
No presentations. No pressure. Just good conversation with people who understand the work.
Awesome ... great ... thanks, COAA ... but why the breakroom flyer?
Because there’s a pretty good chance you’re not the only COAA member in your office who didn’t realize everything included with membership.
A lot of organizations purchase group memberships, which means there are probably other people walking past the break room coffee pot every day who also have access to the eForum, eCatalog, and eForum Xchange … and just don’t know it yet.
So, hang the flyer up. Share the QR codes. Spread the word.
The more members who participate, ask questions, share resources, and join conversations, the stronger this community becomes for all of us.
Final Thought
COAA works best when members jump in and make it their own.
So:
- Ask the question
- Download the template
- Join the conversation
- Share what’s working for you
You might come looking for one quick answer and leave with a new connection, a better process, or an idea that saves your team a whole lot of headaches down the road.
Not bad for a coffee-break QR code scan.
